Payments
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Arinex Pty Ltd’.
If you are unable to pay by credit card please contact the Symposium Secretariat at acemws2023@arinex.com.au

Cancellations
All cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing via email to the Symposium Secretariat, Arinex Pty Ltd.
Cancellations received up to and including 11.59pm AEDT Tuesday 18 April 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $150.00 administration fee.
Cancellations received between 12.00am AEDT Wednesday 19 April 2023 and 11.59pm AEDT Wednesday 14 June 2023 will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 11.59pm AEDT Wednesday 14 June 2023.
As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty.

COVID-19
As the 2023 Winter Symposium will be a hybrid event, we can convert your face-to-face registration be a virtual attendee if you contract COVID-19 and cannot attend in person. 

No refunds will be provided for any cancelled accommodation, airfares or other related expenses for your travel to the event, we suggest you book flexible travel and accommodation options.

Conditions
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and Arinex Pty Ltd reserve the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.

Registrations received by Arinex Pty Ltd will not be considered as confirmed unless payment has been received and processed. Non-payment or non-attendance will be taken as a cancellation on the day of the event and will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Disclaimer

The Organising Committee and the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) reserve the right to change the program and social functions at any time without notice. Opinions expressed by authors in their abstracts and during their presentations are personal and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Organising Committee and the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) nor Arinex Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the Symposium or for theft or damage to belongings.

Liability
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and Arinex Pty Ltd will not accept any responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates in the course of the event. Nor will the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and Arinex Pty Ltd take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Symposium or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.

Photography
While attending the Symposium you may be photographed. By registering for the Symposium, you agree to these photographs being used for promotional purposes.

Privacy
During the process of registration, Arinex Pty Ltd will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance. All personal information is gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.
